Apparently this week was fire safety week. As a result, rescue vehicles were on demonstration this weekend. When I passed by and saw what was going on, I had to run home and bring Mateo. As I mentioned before, trucks are one of Mateo's favorite things in the whole wide world, so this was essentially Mateo heaven. There were fire trucks, a bomb squad truck, a helicopter, ambulance, and police car open for kids to climb into. Mateo was so excited! They also demonstrated how to cut a car in half using the jaws of life. What fun!
Hopefully there won't be many other times that Mateo will be riding in the back of a police car!
