BBB (Big Boy Bed)

My little boy is growing up. Last night was his first night in his toddler bed. Yup, no more crib for him. I was prompted to make the change when we saw him attempting to catapult his way overboard a few times last week. Luckily he never actually went all the way. So, instead of waiting until he did, we made his crib into a day bed. I anticipated a night of him falling out or hearing him wander around his room in the middle of the night. But it went much more smoothly than I thought. Well, he did fall out once (onto a mound of pillows I assure you) but I was able to scoop him back in bed without any further problems. In the morning I found him sitting on his bed, playing with a couple of cars I left out for him, and waiting patiently for us to let him out of his room. Sigh. What a big boy. Here's video.
