It's a great time of year here in Oregon (I think). The leaves are turning and falling, it's cold but not too cold, and it's not quite raining everyday just yet. This is when I dig out my sweaters and scarves, order pumpkin spice lattes and nibble on the best cookies ever (pumpkin of course) from Palace Bakery here in town. So with the sun shining this weekend we headed to the pumpkin patch. It's about a 20 minute drive out to Lone Pine farms where they have tractor and helicopter rides, goats, a corn maze, and lots of other fun stuff for kids. Mateo had the best time feeding the goats. Once he got the concept of sticking your hand out with food and goats will come lick if off, he thought it was the funnest thing. I couldn't replenish the food in his little hand fast enough! I might need to take Mateo back just to visit the goats! We took a stroll out to the pumpkin patch and he got to run free. We ended our afternoon with caramel kettle corn and pumpkin pie ice cream. Yum!
